Training
WACMHC provides Technical Assistance and Training for all Washington State Community Health Center members. Training and technical assistance is to support the goals of: strengthening existing health centers, assisting in the development of new access points and services, and to promote high quality, effective delivery systems.
WACMHC Membership consists of 26 Federally Qualified Health Centers and are the backbone of Washington's health care safety net operating 123 Medical sites, 74 Dental sites and 4 urgent care facilies across the state. Other services offered by WA CHC's clinics include behavioral health, health education, translation services and transportation.
We work closely with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) to advocate for CHCs at the federal level. In doing so, we maintain strong relationships with our federal delegation to ensure CHC program reauthorization, increased appropriations, improved Medicaid payments and other pertinent issues for CHCs.
