Federal Loan Repayment Program

The NHSC is a network of 10,000 primary care providers and 17,000 sites working in communities with limited access to care across the country. Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program is a selective program of the U.S. Government that helps alleviate the critical shortage of registered nurses currently experienced by certain types of non-profit health care facilities by helping nurses working at them to repay their student loans

National Health Service Corps, The NHSC awards scholarships each year to students pursuing careers in primary care. In return, students commit to serve in the Corps for two to four years in an under served community located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) upon their graduation and licensure.

Washington State Loan Repayment Program

Washington State Health Professional Loan Repayment and Scholarship Program was created to attract and retain health professionals to serve in critical shortage areas in Washington state. The Program provides financial assistance to students training to become primary care health professionals. is a free, multi-disciplinary, interactive health careers website designed to explain the array of health professions and provide easy access to students seeking information about health careers.
